For the past 17 years I have lived machine work. It became a personal goal to learn everything I could in this industry, whether it be oil and gas or aerospace. It started with mastering manual lathes and mills. From there I took on the 2 axis lathe, vertical, horizontal, mill-turn, multiaxis, 3/4 axis mill and cad/cam. Then at the age of 21 I became a shop foreman. For nine years I was a leader/programmer and a mentor for new employees. In the following years I learned how to work and program a 5 axis machine. I instantly fell in love with the challenge and precision of this industry. The challenge of complex parts and precision tolerances made me strive to work harder creating superior code and better processes.
